CurrentThe Tāhuhu Programme is an infrastructure programme delivering new & upgraded modern purpose-built facilities across Archives NZ, the National Library of New Zealand of and Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision. The first stage of this programme, a new Wellington archival building connected to the National Library via a link bridge, enables the collaboration of the 3 institutions and creation a national documentary heritage campus. Future stages, currently in planning and design, includes a new highly resilient and sustainable shared collections ‘deep storage’ facility and upgrades or exit of existing facilities.My responsibilities in this role are to lead the planning, design and delivery of building projects included preparation of business cases; land acquisition/divestment; associated civil and landscaping works; and stakeholder management. The new Wellington archival building is due for completion in early 2025.
