The Deming Center Venture Fund (DCVF) supports emerging companies in Boulder and surrounding communities. The Fund is managed by a cross-disciplinary team of CU Boulder graduate students, and guided by an experienced advisory board that includes University faculty and local leaders in venture capital and angel investing.The DCVF focuses on investments in the "funding gap" providing financial support that early-stage companies often require to develop and test new products and technologies. The Fund is well positioned to invest without a partner, and, where appropriate, is capable of leveraging strong relationships with local angel investors to make co-investments. The target capital investment of the Fund is $25,000 supporting raises of less than $1,000,000. The investment is provided in exchange for equity, convertible debt, or a similar security.

The Assistant Director of Programs is responsible for co-curricular experiential education in the context of Outdoor Programs, Club Sports and Intramurals. In these multiple capacities, the Assistant Director will collaborate with professional staff and student leaders to set goals, supervise trips, develop and support recreational sports activities, develop budget projections, track expenses, process accounts payable, evaluate organizational needs, problem-solve, and serve as a liaison with other university departments essential to program implementation and success. In addition, the Assistant Director will serve as a member of the Administrative Leadership Team; fully participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the departmental mission to mentor student leaders, develop programs that enhance the student experience at Regis University and encourage a sense of campus community.

REI Outdoor School Instructors provide the gear and instruction to REI members and customers for activities which include: Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Stand-Up Paddle boarding, Mountain Biking, Road Cycling, Hiking, Backpacking, Camping, Natural History, Outdoor Photography and Navigation Outings for both Map & Compass and GPS.+ Successfully lead REI Outdoor School programs+ Teach in-store educational classes and in-the-field programs for REI customers to include delivery of class content, customer service during the outing, and the safety of all the participants+ Maintain equipment and coordinate outing logistics+ Coach large groups of people and lead instructional events and give effective individual feedback+ Thorough knowledge in the course content, demonstrating the designated activity or sport with safety and skill+ Partner with store management teams, market coordinator teams, local business partners as well as local outdoor organizations
