MSc-thesis in Socio-Spatial Analysis: The death of "the" architect - Conceptualisations of authorship and the emergence of open source in architecture discourses. I have studied the (alternative) open source organisation and production model in architecture and the changing roles and relationships of architects/designers, potential users and their work in the contemporary knowledge-based network society.

Giving workshops to 20-60 students from secondary school, together with one or three other colleagues at Wageningen University during a one-day course. Topic: Landscape architecture and natural developments. Activities: giving lectures and supervising fieldwork.

During one educational period at Wageningen University, I worked together with René van Seumeren (also student assistent), Eric-Jan Pleijster (LOLA Landscape Architects) and Wim Korvinus (artist) under the direction of Assistant Professor Ir. Paul Roncken. In this course I co-supervised 45 students with their design of the "Wilhelmina Park, Wageningen". Activities: supervising students' design process.

Amsterdam

Together with Peter Wijnhof, Joke de Jager, Jos van de Lindeloof, Michiel Veldkamp, Margreet van Kuijk, Esther Kruit (and later Gerrit van Oosterom and Rik de Visser) under the direction of Arda van Helsdingen, I attended this national board. Within this board I was responsible for the connections with the students who study garden- and landscape architecture in the Netherlands. Activities: meetings, organise, keeping contact, controlling a budget.

Under the supervision of associate professor Wim Timmermans (VHL) and associate professor Dr. H.J. de Haan (WUR) I worked on a literature research about the causes and socio-spatial consequences of demographic shrink in the northern part of the province Friesland, the Netherlands.

During one educational period at Van Hall Larenstein, I worked together with Ilse Verwer (also student assistant) and other teachers at this school, under the direction of Jos Ulijn. In this course I was co-responsible for the results of 90 second year students, from whom I supervised 30. Topic: redesign of the "Gelderse Vallei". Activities: supervising students' design process.
