Rob is currently the Chief Operation Officer at Ambassadors of Compassion, whose vision is a generation of emotionally resilient, self-sufficient, and compassionate youth overcoming their negative experiences, taking responsibility for their own lives, and achieving their goals and dreams while serving the needs of their community, our nation, and the world.Ambassadors mission is to provide evidence-based programs that remove the emotional obstacles preventing students from reaching their full potential. By drawing on the experience and expertise of successful leaders, influencers, and educators, and by partnering with caring corporations, the entertainment industry, pro and college sports teams, and community-based groups, Ambassadors delivers proven emotional resilience training and hands-on activation that promotes emotional, academic, social, and life success.Over 80,000 students have completed our independently measured and proven programs that provide a safe space for students to address their real-life issues in a positive way. The programs reduce anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation while fostering self-awareness, purpose, connection, and hope; equipping and empowering students to succeed academically and in life.Rob was the CEO at Rachel’s Challenge from 2007-2021. During his tenure Rob helped Rachel’s Challenge reach over 20 million students, educators, and parents with its life-changing programs. Rachel’s Challenge taught students to respect themselves and others, and that hope is the antidote to fear. That kindness is contagious, that compassion connects us, that empathy can end isolation. RC teaches these positive tools and skills to address the root causes of school violence and self-harm.Prior to joining Rachel’s Challenge Rob had a 27-year career in business; including time with IBM and GE Capital. He was a founding principal in an IT services start-up, the Summit Group, that grew from seven founders into a 550-person firm with annual revenues of over $100 million. Rob has raised over $135 million in strategic and venture capital and has been involved in the purchase or sale of eight different companies with a total value of more than $480 million. Rob is a member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of YPO Gold and has served on several business and charitable boards. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Central Michigan University with a BS in Business, and lives in Colorado with his wife of over 40 years, Lee, and has three grown children: Kellen, Michael, and Rob; and ten grandchildren.
