Lead a team of two military, six government civilians, and ten defense contractors responsible for communicating the Army's equipping and modernization story. Coordinate external and internal communications efforts, to include point papers, presentations, media interviews, and congressional testimony in support of force generation, equipping, reset, and transformation. Developed, coordinated, and published the annual Army Modernization Strategy. Also served as the chief of the Force Management Personnel Proponency office, responsible for the professional development and career path management of over 300 Army officers.

Kuwait

Principal liaison between the Deputy Chief of Staff, G8 and Commander U.S. Army Central. Major effort: Initial fielding of 10,000 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles to U.S. Forces in Iraq. As fielding sites in Kuwait and Iraq opened, I provided the DCS G8 with onsite independent analysis of status, problems, and potential solutions. This enabled the Army Staff to respond quickly to emerging issues.
