Head of Information Security responsible for audit compliance, penetration testing, user awareness training in line with ISO27001, PCI/DSS and CyberEssentials standards.

- Intranet and extranet strategy and project management. - Delivered and supported over a hundred client extranets and virtual datarooms, for major PFI projects and corporate deals valued at up to £300million- Designed and implemented a firmwide content management solution - Managed development of a bespoke legal project management/budgeting web application, which was commended in the 2007 FT Innovative Lawyers awards.

Delivered customer-funded eBusiness consultancy services to corporate customers, primarily in the financial services sector. Projects included:- Royal Bank of Scotland - Requirements, business analysis and design for web-based internal recruitment and branch capacity applications. - RBSI Jersey – straight through cheque processing system. Development team of 20.- Shell Oil - Requirements and business analysis for a personalised employee portal for 50000 users - CGU Insurance - defined strategy, requirements and architecture for a website to promote, sell and administer stakeholder pensions products. - Cazenove - Business analysis for a secure client extranet portal.

- Management of a team of 18 pre-sales consultants targeting E-commerce and Internet sales opportunities- Evangelised the future importance of the world wide web to corporate customers as early as 1994- Designed and implemented Digital UK’s first intranet, Internet and extranet web sites. The extranet site, PartnerWeb, became the primary support system for all business partners and was implemented worldwide.- Support of AltaVista Software product sales in the UK, including demand generation; channels management; liaison with US engineering groups - Delivered Internet and open systems consultancy to customers such as BT, Inland Revenue, NatWest, DERA, Oxford University Press, Sanger Centre, Kvaerner, Zeneca and Allied Domecq.- Designed the highly successful website for Richard Noble’s supersonic world land speed record in ThrustSSC.

- Responsible for all aspects of software development standards and quality control for Schlumberger Cambridge Research. - Co-ordinated software technology transfer between SCR and other Schlumberger operational sites world-wide. - Designed and implemented a database for a full-scale oilfield drilling simulator and a workstation based interactive signal processing system.
