Mechatronics engineer within the testing department.Developing software updates to improve machine control and add new features, this to better support the development of new pushbelt products. Updates are shared with the cooperating Bosch plant in Vietnam.Other general tasks are software maintenaince, stay protected against software attacks, data security and generate databases for the measurement data.

At Ford Lommel Proving Ground my main task was executing brake tests and convert test requests into test procedures with the appropriate test equipment.A coordinating project role was performed with development, instrumentation, mechanics and test drivers.The first 4 years I mainly supported the development of B-platform brake systems. The last 4 years consisted of core investigations (alternative materials, regenerative braking etc.), homologations, test bench development and being responsible for data calculations and data reporting.

The goal of the thesis was to find the root cause of vehicle pull. A proposal was made to resolve the pull issue.
