During my internship, I have gained new experiences in the professional workfield. The projects I worked on were; creating a Greening Strategy for the Iveagh Trust Area in the city of Dublin, writing a Research Project were I was given the opportunity to research the air pollution around the river quays of the city centre. Herby, using the research question: “How does green infrastructure on the river quay influence air pollution in Dublin, Ireland?”. Another project we worked on is improving the shape and size of specific plant potson Grafton street. The last project that took place during the 20 week internship was focusingon a new strategy for the Saint Michan’s Park also found in the city centre of Dublin. Due toall of the projects mentioned above I have been able to improve many of my personal learninggoals stated in my placement plan.Besides taking part in projects, I have also been invited to take part in the general meetingsat the office and also to the park openings. Park openings are big events that take place atthe end of a project when the park is all ready for the general public. Show less
