Cerner Technology Services / SSE - Infrastructure & OperationsDirector of twelve international data centers and cloud infrastructure for Cerner medical care hosting. Hired in 2009 as principal architect to buildout DC/cloud infrastructure around the world to support Cerner’s international hosting initiative. This infrastructure grew to twelve data centers in eight countries with over 80+ associates. Including 22,000 servers, 12,000 sq ft of DC floor space and 200+ WAN circuits.

Responsible for process control applications in payroll, accounting and human resources department. In a few short months I was quickly able to dramatically improve system stability and reliability by reengineering the production environment and rewriting all process controls. Tools used were BMC’s CONTROL-M, Perl Scripts, Windows/DOS Batch scripts, Python and SQL. Also responsible for daily management of development and production environments which include MS Windows Server 2003, MS SQL 2005 in multiple VMware Virtual environments.

Managed the design, implementation and support of system and redesigned the system from initial design specs of 250,000 customers to 1.5 million. Responsible for IT infrastructure of Florida and South American systems. Chief architect for the design of internal network, remote access, security, desktops and telecom infrastructure for offices and data center. Chief architect and project manager for design and construction of primary data center for South America Operations. Integrated data center with BellSouth MTSO to minimize cost. Data center build out came in on time and under budget.
