I have worked in healthcare for over 18 years in both ambulatory and inpatient capacities. I started as a medical records clerk and quickly became a Super-User in Cerner which allowed me to start getting experience in helping End Users with questions they had about using not only Cerner but the computers themselves. I am very proficient in multiple EMR/EHR computer systems including Cerner, EPIC and Allscripts. My experience encompasses multiple EHR Go-lives and training classes. I have been part of several project teams as a SME from the planning phase all the way through to hand off. On more than one occasion I was selected from groups of Go-live consultants to be the lead (or only) trainer for classes including Providers, Nurses and ancillary staff.
