Raised in Southern California and educated in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, I'm comfortable with leaving the comfort zone. In June of 2021, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida with no knowledge of the city other than that I was starting my next chapter at northeast Florida's legacy broadcast news station, WJXT News4JAX. I soon realized I had joined a team whose members shared a unique relationship to the market.Since joining the News4JAX family, I've been able to channel my interest in learning toward achieving the goals of local businesses, marrying an eye for detail with creativity to help our team share a client's message through personalized broadcast and digital marketing campaigns. My work continues to be an exciting space to learn something new every day, with growth in our digital capabilities and new people to meet. Through News4JAX, I've made the most of opportunities to express my gratitude toward the community by making a commitment to volunteer. I've been fortunate to participate in the 11th and 12th Channel 4 Toy Drives in partnership with the Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville, the 2022 Jacksonville Image Awards honoring and celebrating achievements of individuals and organizations in the African American community, and the 2022 River City Pride Parade.In my free time, I enjoy playing my Taylor acoustic guitar, cooking, reading a novel or historical work, walking, and exploring new neighborhoods.
