Through my academic career and employment history, I have acquired a great deal of experience which can be translated into several different areas of the job market. My research interests focus on the origins and complexities of colorism and racial caste systems throughout the U.S and Atlantic world and how these have impacted American society in the twenty-first century. My current employment at the Stuhr Museum has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in the field of public history, researching and designing exhibit installations focused on national themes in American history and their impact on local communities.
