Rob is a Dallas-based Tax Partner who joined PwC's National MLP practice in 2007. Since joining PwC, Rob has assisted Companies with modelling and structuring the impacts of mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, as well as, partnership agreement interpretations, legislative efforts, FERC analysis, and other federal and state regulatory/compliance reporting matters. In addition to his lead partner role, he currently leads the National Tax Services (NTS) and Complex Reporting Solutions Business in PwC's Trust Solutions segment. With-in the NTS and Complex Reporting Solutions group resides the following Client Service teams: Tax Policy, Tax Controversies & Reporting, National Economic and Statistics, Exempt Organizations, Global Information Reporting, Wealth Management Tax Services, Master Limited Partnership, and Automated Managed Services. This team of National Business work to solve unique issues facing our clients across all Sectors. During his 15 years as a Partner at PwC, Rob has served our clients in many different roles, including Energy Sector Leader, MLP practice leader, Tax Technology & Development Leader, and a Global Tax Data & Analytics Leader. Rob has also served as a Member of Tax’s Core Leadership Team the US Extended Leadership Team. Prior to joining PwC, Rob served as the Vice President of Tax at Kinder Morgan Inc., the general partner of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, one of the largest MLPs. Rob was responsible for tax due diligence functions including strategy and structure identification, and implementation for domestic and international acquisitions/dispositions. His responsibilities also included the management of corporate and partnership federal, state, and international planning, compliance, and examinations.Rob serves on the board and chairs the Regulatory Committee of the Energy Infrastructure Council, and he was inducted into the Alerian Hall of Fame in 2017. Rob is a CPA with an undergraduate degree in accounting from McNeese State University.
