Focus on improving operational excellence while also delivering 2% cost reductions year over year. Also involved in negotiating 2 significant outsourcing deals: one for IT infrastructure (5 years, $2.2 billion) and one for network/communications (6 years $0.6 billion).

Led +200 person back office accounting and financial reporting organization in Procter & Gamble's Global Shared Services center in San Jose, Costa Rica. Group was responsible for all Marketing, Sales, Research and Admin, and Intercompany transactions for all of the Americas, as well as all corresponding balance sheet accounts. Reduced accounting issues by 90% and increased productivity 20% through improved tools, processes, and organization redesign. Also led sitewide efforts on move planning for +1000 people, developing accounting mastery, and wellness.

Oversaw +$4 billion in pension assets globally and developed or redesigned pension plans for Procter & Gamble around the world. Lowered ongoing pension expense by $21 million/year and reduced balance sheet volatility by co-leading with HR global conversion from defined benefit plans to defined contribution. Also developed in house capability to do asset-liability modeling, manager selection, and global performance monitoring. Saved over $0.5 million/year by consolidating 82% of pension assets to 5 asset managers and 1 global custodian.

Worked on global upstream initiatives and commercial developments for the Always brand ($2.1 billion net sales globally), and also worked on potential new businesses/brands in the Feminine Care category. Led development of global pricing and margin principles. Reversed 3-year declines by coordinating portfolio analysis with 8 regional businesses (including developing countries) to deliver 12% annual profit growth over next 5 years.

Directed financial analysis for upstream development and long term planning for Global Tampax business ($600 million net sales globally). Co-led with Marketing development of 5 year global plan to deliver annual profit growth of 13%, including development of white space expansion plans into key developing countries, and recapitalization and restructuring of the Tampax business to optimize global cost structure. Also managed $100 million FemCare R&D spending globally, reducing costs by 10% via internal and external benchmarking, and restructuring proposal.
