As a process engineer in Leiden, I thermally rated several heat exchangers and air coolers for different clients using the HTRI design software. Besides this I performed hydrualic calculations of piping networks and water hammer simulations using WANDA. The goal was to numerically simulate and quantify pressure wavepropagation losses due to viscous effects in a pipe using different bent geometries.
