Rob Bertels is specialized in personal coaching, leadership and team- & personal development.After finishing his study Business Law at the University of Leiden he worked as an internal consultant for the Dutch Ministry of Defence. In 1989 he started to work at Holland Consulting Group and was as management consultant involved in facilitating strategy- and organizational changes in different organizations. At that time he gained wide experience in supporting cultural changes, team development and quality- and client focus programs, aimed at visible and continuous result improvement at division- and team level.In 1995 he started his own consultancy-practice, which was very successful for over 5 years. But Rob missed being part of a highly professional team and in 2000 he joined for this reason Holland Consulting Group again. First as a director of Holland Development Center and later as partner/director and co-owner of Holland Consulting Group. Nowadays his special expertise lies in the (development, implementation and performance of) effective coaching at organizational-, team- and individual level. He is actively involved in the personal guidance of (board)teams and (top)managers and in the development of their joint and personal leadership and effectiveness.Since 2022 Rob is working from his own 'homebase' Bertels Coaching & Consultancy B.V., preferably choosing only the challenging assignments he likes, in which he believes and that are meaningful to him and his client.In his ambition to give his clients the best and to work together in this with high level professionals, Rob is also a valued member of HCG Netwerk (see www.hcg.net).Over the years he has published several books and articles concerning his experiences, like ‘Meesteradviseur’ (2020), 'Zelf in Zicht' (2012), 'De Aard van het Beestje' (2010), ‘Met Man en Macht’ (1994) and 'Persoonlijk Succes' (1993).
