It always happens in the blink of an eye. We still need to enable our data scientists to predict the future so our analysts can come up with a solution. But we also work on FEATHER, our Framework Enabling Apache Tools Helping ETL-ing Realtime-datasources. With FEATHER we can react immediately. If not sooner.

Data from the past, present or future. We have it, we analyse it and we transform it into visual information.

As a Data Analyst at Alliander I extract data from PeopleSoft (our HR information system). I use it to build dynamic, interactive reports. My users are very pleased, even though the reports are build in Excel 2003 (without macros)!

Numico was taken over by Danone in November 2007.

As Database Administrator (DBA) of Numico Research I kept the databases healthy. I also build their first two Data Warehouses (DWH). Usually this is something you don't want your DBA to do :-)
