Responsible for cost reporting, forecasting, scheduling, estimating, change management, and managing a team of project controls personnel overseeing the Point Thomson Project. Developed project controls process and procedures for the execution of the project. Interfaced with finance and subcontracting to provide oversight of subcontract change coordination. Interface with the Client, Home Office and the Construction Management Team. Responsible for system support and maintenance.

Responsible for developing a proper Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and an associated Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for the Construction Management and execution of the Point Thomson Project. Responsible for cost reporting, forecasting, estimating, change management and overseeing the cost team in the field and home office. Developed Project Controls process and procedures for the execution of the project. Worked with subcontractors to develop project specific plans to meet the Coordination Procedures of the contract. Monitored and controlled progress, and cash flow on a monthly basis for multiple subcontractors. Worked with the home office on the implementation of Prediction Plus the cost system for the projects. Interfaced with contract administrators and subcontractors to review monthly progress and incorporate changes into the forecast.

Responsible for cost reporting, forecasting, scheduling, estimating, change management, and managing a team of project controls personnel. Also responsible for developing and implementing a project controls program including a cost control and schedule system for the Mid Continent Alaska Business Unit. Worked with multiple departments to develop an extensive WBS in order to streamline estimating, cost tracking and scheduling. Engaged with management to develop the strategic 25 year plan, ARO budget and track the detailed 3 year program plans. Oversaw progressing of the program against the budget plan to perform monthly Outlook reports and forecasts. Reviewed and validated contractor project control systems to be utilized on CVX projects. Worked closely with contractors to progress and monitor cost. Managed and controlled changes to the program. Other responsibilities included estimating and planning the refurbishment of off shore drill rigs, platform upgrades to support drilling operations, crane refurbishment and closure of reserve pits. Pre-fabricated drilling support modules on shore to minimize off shore work as much as possible.

Worked with management to develop and implement a program schedule to track the engineering, procurement and fabrication of the Ooguruk Project for Pioneer Natural Resources. Responsible for project setup in the Oracle Financial System including cost and revenue budgets. Setup and maintained project schedules based on project estimate with respect to manpower and shop space. Monitored progress and performance of labor, subcontractors, engineering and procurement. Prepared Weekly Performance Reports with data from Safety, Quality, and Production. Prepared weekly Client Cost reports and project Change Orders.

Primary function at the Anchorage Fabrication Facility was fabricating "truckable" modules for clients on the North Slope of Alaska. This work also included industrial steel fabrication, pipe spool fabrication and tank fabrication. Responsible for the setup of all new projects in the Oracle Financial System including cost and revenue budgets as well as the project schedule in Primavera based on the proposal and estimate. Worked with the Engineering Manager analyzed and create an appropriate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) so the schedule and budgets were linked.Performed weekly data integration and progressing, loaded Oracle with percent complete from schedule and weekly cost reporting directly from the Financial System. Compiled ECAR/RFI data for Change Orders. Responsibilities also included managing and reviewing the Document Control department.

Responsible for the Document Control department. Responsible for development and maintenance of Fabrication and Quality Control documentation to ensure that in-process inspection is performed and documented. Compiled data and documentation throughout the fabrication process and then prepared document for transmittal to the Client upon completion of the project. Supervised audits of individual sections of the AES Quality System and Procedures Manual.

Performed structural steel fabrication and pipe welding to AWS, ASME, and client welding specifications. Also worked on fit-up and assembly of structural steel and piping components. Safety and Quality were top priority. Projects ranged from the installation of Sea Lift modules for GC1 and Lisbourne, to the fabrication of "truckable" modules for Alpine CD1 and CD2, commercial building components, piping spool and tank fabrication, heavy equipment and mining machinery fabrication and repair, and industrial steel fabrication. Served as a foreman directing the crew on tasks based on schedule and budgets. Reviewed drawings and estimates to validate work scope against the original estimate. Ordered material shorts ahead of the work. Worked with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to develop change orders for out of scope work.
