I started my Oil & Energy career 22+ years ago and soon realized that an EPC project's success depends heavily on how well the project management team estimates costs, forecasts, schedules, tracks progress and change, and ultimately executes according to "best practices." It also became very apparent that the common underlying component to successful projects was timely, accurate data.Employers have always relied on me to quickly analyze and solve deep project issues and get their project running properly. The tougher the challenge, the more satisfying it is to solve. I love this stuff.My goal has always been to take this hands-on, practical experience and focus all my efforts on creating a series of Project Controls "best practices" tool sets and methodologies and apply them to provide the "heavy lifting" required to drive a project's success.
