UKG, or Ultimate Kronos Group, is a leading HCM (human capital management) cloud solutions provider.I was promoted to lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for site reliability, performance, compliance, and automation for the company's multi-platform source code management. In this role, I leveraged Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies in providing dotted-line leadership over large engineering teams in automation, development, scalability, and quality assurance, while also liaising with product owners, technical managers, business teams, and other stakeholders on program planning and execution. I initially joined Ultimate in a technologist role performing the development and maintenance of the UltiPro Suite, version control, with a primary focus on automation. During this time, my position evolved to manage corporate source control management systems and the full compliance of our source code governed under SDLC requirements. I managed the development, installation, configuration, and maintenance of various source code management environments for multiple platforms; provided internal and tier-3 customer support; and managed SDLC compliance and audits against SOC 1 & 2. Key achievements:►Serving as technical lead and support engineer on a series of client implementations in which I aligned our technical, business, and customer stakeholders on business analysis, project plans, deployment, and change management.►Resolving legacy issues with source code management platforms. I led integration and versioning changes via StarTeam and Subversion platforms.►Constructing the workflows enabling our development team to have self-service for the flagship .NET-based UltiPro product using innovative SQL stored procedures.►Facilitating the migration of Informatica to a state-of-the-art platform introducing automated insurance carrier functionality management.►Scripting new functionality, including using Python for SSL/TLS, SQL for data queries and updates, and PowerShell for multi-version Informatica upgrade.►Automating Bitbucket upgrades and SVN to Git repository migrations.►Program managing a seamless client upgrade of UltiPro Time and Attendance within all KPIs, heading teams in the project planning, data migration, and production handoff to SaaS engineers.►Serving as a core member of the task force that attained SOC 1 & 2 credentials.►Implementing Atlassian Stash, FishEye, and Crucible for code management and review, and leading virtualizations.In In 2019 Ultimate was acquired by Hellman & Friedman with a value of $11+ Billion.
