Between 2008 and 2012 was the project lead and developer on replacing third party credit card authorization and settlement software. Developed new custom software that could be used going forward to do any enhancements needed as well as keep up with the quarterly mandates from the credit card processors. Also mentored new developers on our payment system software.During 2012 I designed and developed the authorization server software that connected to Reasor’s and integrated it into the company’s point of sale and credit card at the pump software.

Lead web developer for the company’s three online magazine websites.Designed and developed internal company websites for our business operations.I worked with graphic artists on creative images for all our websites.Managed content and monitored all the company's public facing websites. Including XML, RSS feeds, podcasts both online and iTunes. Digital creation of our print magazines.I was the only developer for the company and worked with all levels of support staff and upper management.

Designed and developed both standalone and web applications that would track and report on digital and print images using Watermark technology.Worked on a print image project for Wired magazine and Popular Science magazine where users could hold magazine pages that had print images embedded with digital Watermark’s up to a web camera and their computer would read it and direct them to that advertiser’s web site. Built ASP pages, ISAPI dll’s and COM+ components to accomplish project.Developed web applications to process data through SQL Server 2000 through the creation of jobs, stored procedures, views and SQL.Worked with a team of software engineers where each of us had parts of the application to develop and integrate together for the final product.Worked in a fast pace development environment where most of the projects had short deadlines as the company was trying to sell software applications for their Watermarking technology.

Began as a computer programmer to help create and implement the company’s touchscreen point of sale system in 1994. During this time our team designed, developed, supported and traveled to every store in the company to install the new computerized system. Main developer for the company’s first credit card at the pump system. Integrated this into our custom point of sale software and payment systems. Interfaced code with gas pump controllers using RS-232 serial communications as well as credit card readers and encrypted keypads.Project lead and developer to replace the credit card authorization and settlement systems. Reduced transaction authorization time which increased customer flow inside the store. The new settlement system saved the company money and prepared them for the increase in volumes that were to come.Worked with upper management to design new software products for the stores. Received awards and special recognition for work on the point of sale and related software products.

Developed custom software applications using Visual Basic.I assisted end users in creating spreadsheet macros and custom SQL queries to analyze data.Designed and developed a Visual Basic application for extracting passenger name records from the system mainframe for a customer care representative to quickly retrieve the information and handle customer requests.
