I value hard work, integrity, humility and virtue. Currently I work for Coastguard Tautiaki Moana as the Regional Manager for fourteen volunteer Coastguard units in the South Island. Our mission is saving lives on the water through Search and Rescue, Communication, and Education.I trained with the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Bridge Watchkeeper, Diver, and support to Commander of Logistics from 2016-9. In 2017 I was seconded to 2/1 Battalion Royal New Zealand Infantry for Combat Corps Training.In High Performance Sport I worked with the Triathlon New Zealand High Performance program from 2007-2014, specifically the Beijing 2008 Olympics, London 2012 Olympics, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and every World Championships event from 2009-2014. Concurrently I wrote a PhD in Exercise and Environmental Physiology at Otago University from 2009-19. Prior to 2007 I worked with New Zealand High Performance programs in: rowing, track cycling, swimming, athletics, triathlon, cricket, multisport, basketball, Paralympics swimming, and softball. I have also coached athletes at all levels from novices through to New Zealand representatives in various sports.Specialties: Performance measurement, race and training analysis, performance modelling, environmental effects on performance, sports innovation, research, mental skills training, conditioning.
