Sole transactional attorney for Applied’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for providing all legal support for the CTO’s commercial activity. The CTO is comprised of multiple business units, each spanning diverse industries and each at various stages of incubation. The legal support provided varied greatly and included product development and sales, design and manufacturing services, joint development, commercial collaborations, procurement contracting, hardware and software evaluations, licensing, government grants, government contracting, real estate, and university research. In addition to the commercial work, I supported the CTO’s corporate development activities for these business units, which include joint ventures, equity investments and divestitures.
