A majority of my professional experience came from joining the startup e-Dealer in its first year and completing 2 tenures over 8 years (2006-9 and 2014-18) of employment. With startup freedom and proven responsibility, I was able to balance the roles of Quality Assurance and Administrator for both Systems and Databases. I have always been comfortable having the ability to wear "multiple-hats" in the IT world! Daily responsibilities included QA testing developed code during sprint cycles, resource monitoring, communicating status updates with all stakeholders, threat detection and issue reporting, ensuring data backups and coordination with developers to provide necessary technical resources. When e-Dealer relocated from Mississauga to Markham in mid 2009, I decided to find employment closer to home.In early 2010, I worked for ASI in Brampton as a Systems/Database Administrator completing projects in local and production systems migrations, maintaining proprietary software for municipalities having database syndication / publications and implementing then newly released MS CRM2011 for clients and client groups. Unfortunately ASI began downsizing and by 2013 I accepted a second tenure with e-Dealer at their new Toronto office as a Database / System Administration primarily and Quality Assurance. After 5 years of working and commuting into Toronto, my decision to leave e-Dealer in mid 2018 was based on spending more time with family and relied on my photography business as my primary occupation while again trying to find IT work closer to home and then eventually relocating to the KW area. I secured a 1 year contract in spring 2019 with the Archdiocese of Toronto to photograph all assets and architectures across Ontario. By the new year I once again started looking into IT job postings and unfortunately got impacted by the global pandemic. I had to prolong my photography business and realized that one benefit during the pandemic was the ability to upgrade my IT knowledge and skill set through many online services including LinkedIn Learning. I have completed over 400 courses (displaying 250 publicly) on that platform alone.While taking small contracts and continuing to learn about IT topics like Data Sciences and emerging technical courses, I am currently in search of a positive working environment.
