  Front end associates have the right communication skills to provide 5 star customer service to shoppers. Associates must be knowledgable about the store in its entirety. As an employee you need to know where products are located, in what isles are they located, and the price or sale that is going on in the week.Associates need to be friendly and approachable, easy to deal with, because customers aren't always in the best mood, you need to accomadate thier needs, because at Price Chopper we want our customers to be, 'regulars".Running the register and making sure that items are scanned the proper amount of times, asking for thier pricechopper card, remembering to input all cupons the customer may have, typing in codes for produce and barcode numbers that wont scan, asking for id from anyone who may look under the age of 21, doing all this while still having a brief conversation with the customer.
