I was brought back to site to over see; reinforcing steel, install catalysis and install expansion joints on ducts. Was this work was performed on coal fire power plant retrofit to meet new EPE regulations.

I was the the site surveyor for two different project. The first project was new construction for a Geothermal power plant in Calipatria, CA "Hudson Ranch Energy Center." 10 month I believe it's been renamed since construction completed. I next followed the company to Fredricksburg, VA to build water reservoir. It consisted of a cast in place spill way and 210 foot tower. Rock Pen Reservoir 20 month duration. On both project we performed all major concrete.

Expansion Project for Exxon-Mobil in Torrance, CA. I surveyed for all construction of; major foundation, Support foundation, equipment foundations and all structural steel builds and tie-inns.

Romoland, California

TIC was awarded the underground electrical and underground pipe. It was a 1/1 GE Power plant IEEC. My role as survey party chief was to layout all key locations for underground utilities. All stub up locations had to be within 1/8" of design location.

Riverside, California

We built a Natural gas power plant for The City of Riverside. This project was build from the ground up. I was involved from the very start, from getting the site ready for all under ground utilities to turn over to The City of Riverside. This was my third project working under my mentor and would be my last.

Victorville, California

TIC/Iberson, built a Dog food plant for Nutro. I assisted the Party Chief Surveyor with all layout for the project. The project consists of two tower silos that were poured in slip form fashion. Due to my journeymen status I also assisted with the building of of the slip forms and was on the slip it self. This was my last project to work as a part time carpenter.

Santan Expansion Project for SRP. TIC was awarded structural steel and minor foundation. During this period my role was doing industrial carpentry and assisting the lead surveyor. I also completed my carpentry apprenticeship, earning the tittle of journeyman carpenter. I also started being more involved with survey/layout aspect of projects. I chose this as a career to follow.

Power plant for Thumbs Oil Co. We built a LM 1000, natural gas fire power plant. I assisted with concrete portion of the project. My job consisted of layout, form work, rebar and placement of concrete. During this time I was recommended to attend a NCCER carpenter program.
