The role included capital and operational planning and budgeting; production, injection and voidage replacement monitoring; AFE and LOE tracking. Responsible for reserve reporting. Major accomplishments included strategizing, planning and the successful implementation of phase II of a water-flood resulting in 50% production increase. Business development responsibilities included the close of a bolt on asset package. In 2015, Zone’s assets were sold.

1998-1999: Led the reservoir engineering work for the development of the Crosby field. This 100 MM BOE pre-sanction deepwater development is a sub-sea tie back to the Ursa platform, Gulf of Mexico. Developed the reservoir simulation model and reduced the reserves uncertainty. Accomplished the optimization of the well selection to reduce the development cost by 10%.1996-1998: Engineer in the Reservoir Performance technology group, responsible for increasing the value of projects through the delivery of technical service work to the business assets. Studies included the Algerian District 3 regional network model of seven gas fields which validated the projected gas delivery and reduction of the gas compression costs. The Milne Point Field model greatly improved the water flood reservoir management in the Kuparuk sands and added 30 MM STB of oil reserves. Delivered a study for the Schrader Bluff EOR project to optimize recovery through water injection, CO2 and miscible gas injection.
