I am a recent graduate of UCLan and achieved a 1st class degree with honours in the area of nutritional science, specialising in human nutrition.I am currently a science teacher at Eden Boys’ School Bolton where I specialise in physics. I completed my initial teacher training as a member of the inaugural cohort of the Tauheedul Education Trust SCITT programme. During my teacher training, I have completed placements at Tauheedul Islam Boys’ High School (TIBHS), Our Lady and St John Catholic College (OLSJ), St Thomas’ Pupil referral unit Blackburn, St Wilfred’s Sixth Form College andThe Olive School, Blackburn. Outside of teaching, I have worked in retail for over three years at JD sports. During this time I was often asked to manage irate customers, complete moves of the merchandise and supervise the footwear section. I have also had experience in coaching as I coached an under 11s basketball team for several seasons. My greatest achievements so far would be attaining a first class degree from university and the offer of employment from Eden Boys’ School Bolton following the completion of the Tauheedul SCITT programme.
