Leighton Contractors / Swietelsky (LS Rail) Hunter Valley Ballast Cleaning Joint Venture; working in conjunction with the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) delivering and governance of planned track maintenance shutdown works with the priority being ballast cleaning works and project support for surrounding alliance works and projects within the Hunter Valley an beyond. Responsibilities include liaising with the client and stakeholders regarding aspects of maintenance possession planning, delivery and on-time hand back, with a particular emphysis on safety, cost and quality, meeting all client and stakeholder expectations.

South Hedland, Pilbara, Wa

FMG future project works continuing work post T155 project completion. Working closely with Senior FMG operations, maintenance and commissioning managers to meet business obligations and consolidation strategies. Works will include project management of contractors delivering various packages of work within the rail business consolidating the success of the T155 project works. Recent works now include being the onsite interface manager for the Roy Hill & Atlas Iron Projects to ensure FMG 's project expectations and logistical challenges are met whilst these parties continue to develop their works within the FMG boundaries. Other duties include liaising with Maintenance personnel closing out punch lists items and maintenance requests, plan and implement crucial track renewals utilising new and existing maintenance crews, whilst carrying out site inspections and presenting technical reports and recommendations for future renewal strategies crucial to the business.

T155 Rail Expansion Project, South Hedland, Pilbara, Western Australia

EPCM role working directly for Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) nine billion dollar T155 rail expansion project. Contracted through White Project Construction Services (WPCS), managing FMG future works, which include the Solomon Spur completion works 130KM infrastructure, works include, final surfacing, destressing and commisioning. Further duties include liaising with FMG planning and operation to complete various FMG mainline works that include track duplication, siding and commissioning throughout the 298KM network between Christmas Creek Mine and Port Hedland. Harbour. Recent responsibilities include being made Track Project Manager for the Thomas Marshalling Yard siding works, which include over 15km's of track work and 28 turnouts over a 5km area to allow commissioning of FMG's Australian first vehicle progression system at FMG's New Car Maintenance Workshop.

Fortescue Metal Group - Solomon Spur- Rail Project, Pilbara, Wa

T155 Solomon Spur- Track Duplication Project, Pilbara, WA - Phase 1, 58KM Track Duplication works for the Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) with EPCM White Project Construction Services(WPCS). FIFO role delivering track works to coincide with existing Laing O'Rourke TPI maintenance projects. Role includes running the construction programme and deliverables reporting daily to the client under a strict timeline. Further duties include being back to back and second in charge with the Project Manager, managing all client expectations and the team as a whole to meet project deliverables safely, on budget and on time.

Midwest Rail Joint Venture, Mullewa to Tilley, Geraldton, WA96KM rail upgrade for Brookfield Rail, working in conjunction with Brookfield Multiplex and NRW Civil & Mining. Role includes managing, all technical Issues with the client, complex logistics of Rail installation and track machine scheduling, monitoring daily production and bringing the project to a successful, safe on budget completion for the client. Other duties include financial and commercial planning, daily, weekly and monthly reporting managing over 100 personnel.

Upper Hunter Valley, Nsw

Project Site Lead Engineer Role delivering one of the thirteen loop extensions for the Upper Hunter Valley Rail Alliance. I am responsible for the overall safe running and management of the Site, working closely with Alliance Partners AANSCA, Parsons Brinkerhoff, Coffey Geotechnical and KMH Environmental. Duties include all aspects of Civil and Track works including Earthworks, project and possession planning, procurement and onsite production. Implementation of Construction Safety Essentials, Every step passport rollout hazard reporting and site Inspections are also monitored with onsite safety representation and I. Other duties Include managing the production of daily quality assurance documentation, reporting directly to the Alliance Construction Manager and client. Further duties include working with LCPL Systems for end of month reporting which includes progress claims, accruals, cost to date evaluations and forecasting. Weekly Earned Value and progress reports are also produced and are communicated to all relevant stakeholders on a weekly basis.

Bruce Highway Upgrade - Uhlmann Road to Caboolture; responsible for Earthworks, Retaining wall construction, Landscaping, Retention Basins and Stone Pitching throughout the project. Daily duties include quality assurance, delivering project critical path targets, working with Electrical, Surface and Structural Engineers and liaising daily with contractors. Further duties include working with LCPL Systems for Procurement, end of month progress claim, accruals, cost evaluations and forecasting. Omokoroa Wastewater Reticulation Project; responsible for delivery and Installation of Mechanical and Electrical Commissioning procedures. Daily duties included liaising closely with Mechanical and Electrical contractors and the client. Assisted the Civil Construction of Pump Stations, Factory acceptance of SCADA Telecommunication Systems, Water Hammer testing and Individual Systems testing of Pump Stations throughout the project. Further duties included technical delivery of Operation & Maintenance Manuals for Wastewater Pumping Stations. Final Duties included, commissioning the entire network and handover.
