After a 20 year career in the streets premier league of equity derivatives firms, in roles as diverse as prop trading , quant research and sales trading, covering everything from D1 to exotics and the full correlation suite of products. It was time for a change - and change is tough but innovation is how we grow.I had observed the intricacies and rise of liquidity as an asset class, I decided that Nov18 would be the time to test the thesis I had been developing in my mind, with modest seed capital, I embarked on building a model and scaling up to a highly efficient trading book which had experienced enormous growth while maintaining a high SHARPE and perhaps more importantly high Sortino too.I am driven by my intellectual curiosity and have long since sought to understand the mechanics of a market not just a given product.Today I continue to mentor juniors , and counsel the more experienced in market dynamics - but always being humble enough to learn along the way.
