I specialize in photographing flowers, foliage, and the occasional brick wall. I approach photography as a sacred art and I use the camera as contemplative tool. I am currently writing a book and organizing a conference of other contemplative photographers representing the spiritual traditions of Zen, Vajrayana, Vipassana Buddhism, and Christian approaches modeled after Thomas Merton.

I offer photography and digital imaging classes to senior citizens. The classes are based on Zen and Vipassana teachings and insights arising from over 30 years of photographic experience and using the camera as a tool for developing concentration (Samahdi) and Joyful (Mudita) practices of the heart/mind.

Nationally

Field Marketing Reps become the human face of an otherwise anonymous corporate entity. As an FMR first with K&L Marketing and then 141 Worldwide, I worked on national marketing campaigns through out the United States. I was often part of an elite group of FMR who were called upon to rescue marketing areas that were falling short of their deadlines. I worked as FMR on a permanent part time basis. On call as needed. I love this kind of work.

Greater Denver Area

FACEIT was a community faith-based organization created by the US DOJ in conjunction with the Denver Police Department and the African-American Council of Churches in Denver. FACEIT arose in response to the slaying of a mentally retarded African-America teenager in his own home by a Denver Police Officer. Our mission was to help inform and educate religious leaders and their communities and centers of faith to the signs of mental illness and mental disabilities with the goal of creating stronger social networks for the families and the community at large and lower the levels of violence and mis-trust.
