Proposed, designed, and implemented more effective margin control system for the division's click arbitrage business. This new design was more accurate than its predecessor, allowed for specific targeting of different traffic streams, and enabled the business to scale to $2M a month in revenue.Built and optimized reporting and internal tools for new products, including schemas, queries, and data pipelines. Performed statistical analysis on this data and presented to management when required.Added features to and maintained Ruby on Rails-based news magazine. Later, was main developer on replacing the above Rails site with a heavily-customized AWS-based Wordpress install, including significant custom sysadmin and devops work. Rebuilt Facebook Ads optimization platform to improve user experience, fix data correctness issues, and enable greater extensibility. Added new features as requested by users.Worked with a small team to rewrite an old (15+ year old) mailing and reporting platform in Laravel. Took the lead on MySQL schema design, data processing optimization, and all other data issues. Proposed and implemented a Redshift-based data store (along with corresponding ETL) for performance-sensitive data requirements. Took lead on requirements-gathering and customer interaction for specific features.
