I am an American published novelist of historical fiction including the Double-Edged Sword series which is set in 6th century Byzantium and based on the life of General Flavius Belisarius, a character whom I came across while researching my thesis for my Master of Arts in History from Norwich University. I have always loved ancient, medieval, and modern history. In my spare time I will often read over the descriptive accounts of Procopius, who was a telling historian in the court of Justinian.
