Community voluntary position, maximum 6 year term. Appointed to position by RMOW Council. - Providing integrated land and resource management recommendations to the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) Council and the Cheakamus Community Forest Partnership (CCF).- Social, economic and environmental variables analysis to optimize community benefit.- Review of CCF current logging methods and post logging sample sites for compatibility with recreation, tourism and landscape visual objectives.- Inputs to a multi-disciplinary team and developing knowledge of silvicultural methods that support Ecological Based Management (EBM).
