Most recently presented a plan and executed it to convert all of the FAA spectrum engineering departments critical applications from over 15 physical servers consolidated down to 5 Physical devices utilizing virtualization technology. Mainly VMware 7.0. This included providing hardware recommendations which were accepted by the Federal client, quoting out the systems for purchase. And building out the servers infrastructure. The system went live in December 2020 This included setting up all the hardware redundancies (RAID-5),configuration of all remote hardware maintenance components on all servers (IDRAC), Creation and installation of all Windows operating systems virtual machines running Windows 2019 Server datacenter edition, adding the systems to the FAA active directory domain and handing off the VM's to developers.. Once in place, I performed monthly maintenance on all elements of the VSphere which includes updating Windows 2019 datacenter servers with critical updates, updating the Vmware ESXI servers to latest versions to insure the devices are protected from cybersecurity threats, and apply all server related updates. Additionally I have configured IIS components for various Spectrum web applications such as JCN, and IRCAS.Support the FAA on the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) in all matters involving Spectrum Engineering from an IT/Electronics standpoint.Provide IT solutions that help the FAA locate, detect, and eliminate all forms of radio frequency interference on all NAV and COM frequencies including the national emergency frequency. Provide training in the field of Network Engineering to employees of various companies looking to offer training to their employees. Courses include Net Plus and CCNA. Duties include instruction based on provided curriculum and designing labs and hands on training to students looking to gain certification. I also provided a hands on approach to networking by demostrating the functionality of a Microsoft Active directory environment. Covering the importance of DNS in active directory functionality and even had a weekly exercise where all students would take lab equipment and put it together to build a fully functioning Active directory environment. with servers and workstations. Each student held a different role each week.

Designing and developed the K95-105 system and technology options to the Federal Aviation Administration to help eliminate radio frequency interference on all FAA COM and NAV bands. The K95-105 is a remote DF system that utilizes both IT and RF engineering aspects to help eliminate an ongoing problem with RFI in the United States. Currently responsible for support of FAA Spectrum Engineering Services based out of HQ in Washington DC as well as the NOCC located in Herndon VA. Recently co-engineered the first ever mobile solar powered IDF platform.Managed and maintain the remote research and development center located in Pittsburgh PA

Ran the network infrastructure for the Uniontown office of OST. This included managing the VOIP system, all Windows related operating systems and even managed and completed a companywide deployment of Microsoft office 2013 to all computers in both the Uniontown office and Washington DC offices. FAA Contractor for the Interference Monitoring and Detection program.Duties: Design IT Infrastructure to contain the RFIM Detection system used to track radio frequency intereference between Aircraft and Air Traffic control, locate and eliminate the interference. This included buildfing the Microsoft active directory environment for all 3 regions of the FAA and the command center for the IMDS project. Installing the servers operating systems, setting up the network configuration to allow communication between the devices. Setting up the Microsoft SQL server database components and working with representatives in each region to go out and install the systems. Deploy the IMDS system at all major FAA regions throughout the United States. Maintain all active IMDS nodes in all FAA nets.Manage the IT infrastructure for OST's remote office located in Uniontown PA. This included Active Directory and network administration.

Duties: Teaching a 15 week Cisco CCNA course to students as part of their Information Technology degree program at the school. Class occurs in the evening 1 day per week. This includes complete course instruction such as lecturing, testing, evaluation, and providing assignments for the students. The course provides the students with the necessary knowledge to take and obtain CCNA certification as well as moving forward in their degree program. Students are instructed in TCP/IP, Network Topology, advanced router configuration, Protocol knowledge and all other curriculum related to CCNA course objectives. Course materials include Thomson CCNA Guide to Cisco Networking Third edition textbook, and virtual router simulation software.

Performed all Network administrative tasks as well as IT infrastructure project work for the company. Facilitated and implemented software deployment mechanisms throughout the company as well as provided level 3 support to the users in the network. Provided SQL Server administration for their large transactional databases.

Provided Level 3 support to the user community and was also tasked with building out a Microsoft SMS system with Microsoft SQL Server database backend to facilitate company wide helpdesk remote capabilities as well as HArdware and Inventory management.
