As a leader of “small to medium” sized Information Technology organizations for a much of my career, technical resources are in short supply and all department members must keep their technical skills current and participate in projects as needed. Keeping my technical skills current has allowed me to better manage the company’s technical organization while still being part of the Executive Management Team. My experience in business and IT Management has taught me how to build successful project teams with business and technical professionals to produce software products that meet business needs and requirements while maintaining a project budgets. My experience spans financial services, technology, trade management systems, warehouse management systems, transportation logistics systems, order entry systems, and software development services. I am an experienced contract negotiator with professional services companies, IT vendors, and communication companies. I have developed the IT Department’s business plan to support the company’s short and long terms goals along with the department’s budget. I have served as a member of the company’s Executive Management Team helping develop both the short and long term corporate goals.
