Experience in Emergency Response is paramount. Diverse working environments is also necessary for development of a well rounded provider. From high criticality patients to dealing with elderly and psychological emergencies most of what we do as effective providers has been learned by experience. Never forget to treat each patient as the PERSON they are. Continually drive your self to expand your general medical knowledge, develop your skills and never turn down an opportunity to pass that knowledge gained to those around you. New employees need mentors, not criticizers. My passion for airway and respiratory management began in my earlier days as a Flight Paramedic and that passion has grown. The constant search for more efficient and productive ways to address airway issues helps feed that passion.
