I recently got my Associates Degree in Drafting and Design technologies form ITT Institute. During my studies I maintained a GPA of 3.92 and a near perfect attendance record and was Salutatorian of my Graduation Class. My education at ITT has given me the opportunity to learn additional software like 3D and parametric modeling like Revit. I recently worked in the Engineering Department for McLellan Ind. and then was promoted to do Project Management. My duties were to track and forecast timelines for completion of jobs performed in the production shop.I have 5 years of experience in the commercial cabinet industry as a Drafter/Programmer. In my job as a drafter/programmer, my responsibilities were to complete and submit drawings for the Owner or Architects approval, then program the parts to be cut on a CNC machine and also provide the shop with all necessary drawings and documents to complete the project. In my work as a drafter, I have not only designed the typical boxes for cabinet construction. I had to design differently curved shapes for reception counters and then create and program those parts into the CNC machine for production.
