I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelors of science degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. During my time at OSU I was actively involved with the Fire Protection Society holding positions of Collectibles and President. I volunteered in the restoration of a 1952 ALF fire engine and the beginning restoration of a 1926 Ahrens Fox fire engine. I walked on to the OSU football team in 2007 and was a member of the 2007 Insight Bowl Champions. Following graduation I moved to Phoenix, AZ, where I began working for University Mechanical and Engineering Contractors in early 2010 to 2015. I was hired by JB Henderson Construction in late 2015 as safety for a large semiconductor facility in Chandler, AZ. I returned to University Mechanical in early 2018 as SQP manager over our base build and tool install scopes of work. My experience in construction safety is primarily in semiconductor but I have also done office building and hospital/research facilities. I am CPR/First aid trained along with having my OSHA 500. I hold the certification of a Graduate Safety Practioner from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and I am working towards obtaining my Certified Safety Professional certification.
