I also led the development & operation of a rig to characterise the performance of the battery thermal management system, & worked with an external test house to conduct shock & vibe testing of the thermal management system.Nov. 2018 – Feb. 2019: I led the testing phase of a project to demonstrate the concept of a novel heat pipe-based battery thermal management system. The test results contributed to a successful Innovate UK grant application, to enable further development of the technology, and were also published in a peer-reviewed journal.Apr. 2018 – Nov. 2018: I led the track testing & final commissioning of a BCI Enterprise 2HD bus, equipped with VP's Euro VI hybrid powertrain, prior to customer delivery. I was also responsible for the successful completion of all tests required as part of the Cummins IQA and Hybrid Approval process.Nov. 2016 – Mar. 2017: I led the track testing and commissioning of VP’s first six hybrid retro-fits, prior to customer delivery. -
