Designed and fabricated RF MEMS switches for radio astronomy applications. Investigated the integration of gold RF MEMS with superconducting circuits and studied device performance, reliability, and repeatability at liquid helium temperatures.

Developed techniques for rapid prototyping of electro-thermal actuators using FIB and Micro-Contact Printing. Developed proficiency with microscopy techniques such as SEM, AFM, FIB, WLI, and TEM.

Assisted in operation of Nanoscale Materials Characterization Facility. Main focus of fellowship was development of a technique for FIB prepared TEM sample lift-out using Zyvex S100 Nanomanipulator. Other responsibilities included general maintenance of microscopes (TEM, SEM, and FIB), training new users on equipment, and assisting peers with research.
