Following a Tornado that destroyed part of downtown Billings Montana in June 2010, I worked as part of the 40 man crew that was tasked with cleaning up the damaged Metra Park Arena. Job included cleaning up debris, removal of water and wind damaged equipment, materials, and supplies, as well as demolition work on much the heavily destroyed facility to make way for the future rebuild.

Began Working at the Dining Hall in the Fall of 2005 as a regular student worker, working all different positions including working in the dish room and serving food. After two semesters working at Miller I was promoted to evening Student Manager. Duties included supervising night shift workers (approximately 20 employees), closing down the dining hall, training new workers, and ensuring that all sanitation rules and regulations were followed. Following my yearlong study abroad, resumed working at the dining hall as both a supervisor and student worker.

Duties included unloading trucks, checking in and stocking merchandise, and inventory control. Certified on all of the stockroom’s heavy machinery including forklift and cardboard compactor. Due to my hard work, speed, meticulousness, and reliability became the main inventory clerk in our receiving area, the largest of the store’s five stockrooms.
