Building a player-tracking metrics platform to evaluate player performance

As the lead for the SCADA Analytics Team, I design and deploy supervisory control systems that optimize oil production, build infrastructure for real-time, multivariable alarming on time-series data, and provide training and mentoring for the analyst community and interns.• Designing and implementing an alerting system using Seeq and Python that analyzes time-series field data toprevent oil production downtime.• Spearheading implementation of applied machine learning to predict equipment failures, schedule preventative maintenance, and reduce unplanned production downtime.• Led internal development of scripts using Seeq API to scale time-series analyses over thousands of assets.• Designed supervisory control system using ThingWorx IoT platform that mitigated hundreds of barrels of oil losses per site per day on the gas lift production system.• Served as working manager for newly formed analytics team - planned daily tasks for myself and two others and managed scopes and timelines for projects within the the group.• Provided company-wide training for Seeq time-series data analytics platform.• Mentored 4 interns, helping them set achievable and impactful goals for summer projects.

• Created analytics dashboard using Seeq tools to assess the efficiency of production facilities.• Prioritized field downtime events by production impact and implemented cron-job to automate downtimereporting.

• Modeled equivalent circuit of three-phase induction motors in MATLAB to understand power consumption of the motors in all phases of operation.• Executed project to reconfigure induction motors to improve power factor and reduce power-quality penalties.• Designed fuse protection for 1700 miles of power distribution system to minimize the impact of ground faults on the system.

Improved efficiency of laser cutting process. Wrote software for a user interface that accepted user input and edited the computer generated G-code that controls the laser, eliminating bad pieces that were specific to each sheet that would be cut. (see video presentation below)

Taught math and science to inner city Boston children, relating each lesson to baseball to make the lessons more interesting.
