In my 16 years at Giant Eagle I worked in many roles. I was able to excel, was promoted from each and left them better than went I started. I was recruited by Giant Eagle into the Space Planning department to work on special projects and was quickly made the manager of all store resets. As a result of my technical abilities and my education, I was moved to the IT department as the lone Quality Assurance Analyst. I worked with an off-shore contractor on many projects, defining the testing approach, creating test cases, performed test execution and provided daily test and defect status. I soon became the subject matter expert on many new systems, becoming the system administrator on many supply chain and merchandising systems as well as the QA lead. I was instrumental in the interview process to build a Quality Assurance department in a newly formed office in Bangalore, India that today has 3 QA testers for Merchandising and Marketing technologies.While at Giant Eagle I was awarded 2 Presidents awards and a Team achievement award. I am driven to succeed and will be a great asset to any organization. I am now ISTQB CTFL certified.
