Senior Grant Manager within Scottish Enterprise's (SE) Grant Management team, with extensive experience of different grant products offered by SE. Responsible for a large portfolio of cases covering a wide selection of industries, with particular interest in Investment projects and R&D projects. My role involves issuing the legal grant offer, and managing the on-going developments with the project, assessing the progress made, including assessing the financial position of the applicant, and authorising payment of grant where appropriate. I also negotiate changes to the project where applicable, including the recovery of grant monies if necessary.I also oversee my team's portfolios and provide advice to colleagues on accountancy and other grant-related matters, feeding into SE's wider Teams as necessary.
