About Robert Blacklidge

Robert is passionate about helping people safeguard and grow their retirement assets. This passion led him to helping war Veterans obtain additional income for home care, assisted living and skilled nursing home care benefits from the Veterans Administration. To increase his effectiveness in assisting Veterans he has become one of an elite number of individuals in Texas to become an Accredited Agent. Only Accredited Agents, Accredited Attorneys and representatives from Veteran Service Organizations are authorized by the VA to assist Veterans with this program.With over 35+ years experience conducting educational workshops and training individuals, he knows how to make the most complex issues easily understandable to anyone. Robert was born in San Diego, California at the end of World War II. After the war his family moved back to Sylvania, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo, where he was raised with strong Midwestern values. From Sylvania High School he went on to California State University Long Beach where he graduated with honors. Soon after graduating college he enlisted in the United States Navy and served as an officer during his tour of duty. Outside of work his time is spent volunteering for organizations he believes in. He is a volunteer at the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society in Fort Worth, Cross Timbers Church in Argyle and Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center in Corinth.Specialties: Accredited VA Agent serving North Texas and the DFW area
