Web Content Coordinator

I served as a Web Content Coordinator for SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers). The position included updating and creating content for SME's multiple websites, analyzing different forms of analytics, and leading projects that better SME’s digital presence.Primary job responsibilities included:— Completing daily content updates for more than 15 company-related websites across multiple Content Management Systems (CMS), including Episerver, WordPress, and Ektron.— Designing, creating and updating landing pages and other key content sections on SME-related sites, including the organization’s main homepage.— Helped create and lead company’s content personalization strategy, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) through Episerver’s Content Recommendations program (previously known as Idio). These personalization efforts resulted in noticeable improvements in engagement (i.e. lower bounce rate, higher average session duration, more user retention, etc.) across SME's different sites.— Utilized Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO/SEM research tools and other web tracking resources to make recommendations for a better user experience and to increase website activity/engagement.— Incorporated best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices in content and pages.— Created weekly, monthly and quarterly analytics reports through Google Analytics and other web-tracking tools. These reports included analytics analysis, identify user and traffic trends, and offer up recommendations to improve content/user experience.— Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly content strategy meetings for multiple websites.— Served as the Web Team’s advertising point person for SME’s Media department, which included working within the organization’s ad server platform, provided insights on ad placements, and troubleshoot issues that appear within the platform.— Worked within Adobe Photoshop to create graphics and edit photos prior to website placement.
