Over 20 years of energy industry experience including west coast power trading, asset optimization, and fundamental analysis. Specific experience includes term power trading, cash trading, hourly trading, dispatch of physical power plants, and management of daily asset activity. Since 2010, my experience includes federal and state regulatory compliance and enforcement monitoring related to wholesale and retail businesses with the following activities: (i) monitoring daily FERC filings impacting wholesale power and natural gas interests; and (ii) tracking state legislation affecting retail power. Currently manage a small team responsible for all federal and state reporting related to commodity activities, including power, natural gas, and crude trading / scheduling /marketing. Support import and export of natural gas and crude products from a regulatory perspective, including US Customs reporting. Serve as the SPOC for US Commercial commodity activity and support compliance with ConocoPhillips Company's membership in the US Customs's C-TPAT program. Additional management responsibilities include ConocoPhillips's commodity training program, internal Commercial policies, coordination of efforts for Commercial risk assessment, import/export regulation and administration for Commercial business interruption and business continuity plans.
