Started in my 1st real civilian mobile role, with many different types of vehicles and have gained some valuable experience and skills, I love this type of work, I basically run south Wales on behalf of the company,

This was a local haulage company so got to do some real mechanical work left to think for myself

Like my mercedes job but worked on iveco commercial vehicles, volvo, Renault and trailers, anything that came through the gates

I worked as a hgv tech, working on all mercedes commercial vehicles from service repair to complex diagnostics, but started to chase the money

After leaving the army I didn't really know what I wanted to do, but soon realised I couldn't waste my training

Qualified as a hgv mechanic and served around the world, back to NI and Afghanistan, loved the challenge but family called

Served all over the world from Buckingham Palace to the jungles of Belize, Afghanistan Germany,America, Canada, Poland, Kosovo and NI, loved it and the challenge but needed to get qualified in a future career role so transferred to the REME
