As a Quality Control Inspector at The Greenbrier Companies, I ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for the production of railcars and components. I perform inbound inspection and quality control for materials, parts, and finished products, using pinks, blueprints, and bill of materials. I also collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to resolve any issues or defects, and to implement preventive and corrective actions.I have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, with almost two decades of experience at Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, where I started as a welder and rose to the position of supervisor and quality control inspector. I have developed and honed my skills in welding, visual inspection, organization, and leadership, and I have contributed to the delivery of high-quality trailers for various customers. I have also completed an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Arkansas State University-Newport, which has enhanced my knowledge and skills in business operations, finance, and communication. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my expertise and education to improve the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing processes and products.
