Subsea Control System design from an Electrical/Software perspective with the following responsibilities and roles:Control System Documentation (FDS, Power/Comms Analysis, Utility Calculations etc).Electrical Design of MCS (Master Control Station), HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit), Wellhead Control Panels.Production of Subsea Control System and HPU control software (PLC and SCADA) including software related documentation (Alarm & Setpoint Schedules, DCS Interface Map, Software Functional Test Procedures etc)Subsea Control System Commissioning both On and Offshore DCS Interface Testing/ValidationProvide technical assistance to clients via phone support or offshore mobilisations

Leading a small team of software engineers responsible for the production of PLC, HMI and SCADA software and functional design specifications to client requirements for use primarily with automation and control systems for the water industry. Software support given throughout internal and client witness testing of control systems and on site during commissioning phases of the project.Research and development into newer technologies for use on non standard, one off projects of which the lead role was taken to deliver the project.PLC, HMI and SCADA software developed using the following platforms:Allen Bradley - RS Logix5000 / Logix500, FTView ME/SE, RSViewMitsubishi - GE IEC Developer, EDesignerSiemens - Step5, Step7, WinCC FlexWonderware - InTouchGE - Ifix SCADA

Responsible for the functional testing of electrical hardware, PLC, HMI and SCADA software to relevant electrical schematics / functional design specifications. Lead Factory Acceptance Testing of control systems to clients and assist onsite with commissioning when required.

Build and wire electrical control panels primarily Motor Control Centres or Chemical Dosing skids to relevant electrical schematics. Travel to site for installation of control systems and for on site wiring modifications when required.
